The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary (VFWA) 7909 was recognized by the We Can Be Heroes Foundation for decades of exceptional volunteer service to veterans, military families, and the Northeast Florida community. Their unwavering commitment has made a lasting impact through compassionate leadership and selfless service.

Serving Veterans & Their Communities

Beyond their well-known patriotic and fraternal mission, VFWA 7909 has consistently gone above and beyond by awarding youth scholarships, sponsoring the Young Marines, assisting homeless veterans, supporting veterans in nursing homes and hospitals, participating in roadway cleanups, recognizing businesses displaying the American flag, and extending humanitarian assistance to U.S. troops stationed at Camp Humphreys, South Korea.
